Felicity Coltman, Artistic Director
Felicity is the founder
and artistic director of the Austin Chamber Music Center. She has performed
as solo pianist and soloist with orchestras in South Africa, and performs
frequently with chamber ensembles in Europe and the United States. She teaches
piano, theory, and chamber music in addition to overseeing the education
and performance programs of the Austin Chamber Music Center.
In 1993, she received Chamber Music America's Gruber Award for Excellence in Chamber Music Teaching and was recently awarded the B. Iden Payne Performing Arts Award for Outstanding Artistic Spirit presented by the Austin Circle of Theaters. She holds diplomas from the Royal School of Music, London, the Trinity College of Music, London and the University of South Africa, and has a degree from the University of Kansas. In 2004, she was inducted into the Austin Arts Hall of Fame.
