The Austin Chamber Music Center has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available for civic-minded individuals looking to lend a hand, share expertise, or gain practical skills in the following areas:

Event Staff

• ticket sales
• ushering at concerts
• reception assistance

Cyber Deputy

• police ACMC's website and notify staff of changes that need to be made
• maintain ACMC's online listings
• search for new online listing opportunities

Photographer

• take photographs at ACMC events such as Intimate Concerts, student events, Academy and Workshop classes
• organize and label photos

Recording Engineer

• use ACMC equipment to record student concerts and professional concerts
• transfer DAT recordings to CD for archival purposes

Library Assistant

• create folders and labels for new music
• enter new works into database

Archival Assistant/Historian

• work with ACMC founders to create a written/photographic history of the Austin Chamber Music Center
• organize and label current photographs
• organize and label photo archives
• create photo albums to chronicle ACMC history

Office/Event Assistant

• provide relief to office staff during busy times
• assist with answering phones, data entry, ticket processing

Research Assistant

• research funding sources, prospective donors, information for press releases and program notes
